The Emissary

When an advanced alien race discovers a satellite filled with knowledge of humans, they use their advanced genetic skills to create an alien-human hybrid in hopes of an easier first contact. They managed to splice what remnants of human DNA remained on the satellite, and filled in the gaps with the closest species on their planet, but they just couldn't nail the face. In its place they crafted a facade of marble, in hopes of bridging that final gap.
